uniting art, medicine + education

Sacred Canvas is an interdisciplinary art collective + alternative medicine practice that aligns forces to share meaningful offerings, educational resources, compassionate services, + soulful craft. Advocacy Arts, or support of creative expression, drives our concept of healing + spiritual exploration.

Culture + passion infuse with disciplined evolution to inform a growing body of work, centered around natural cycles, interwoven with Ancestral wisdom. We are a small group of creatives, kin, ceremonialists, historians + care providers who come together. Aiming to be the change we wish to see: our focuses reflect themes of tribal traditions, reproductive + disability justice, cultural revitalization, survivor advocacy, generational resilience, + ecological preservation. Sacred Canvas cultivates our mission with the word, the pen, + the paintbrush “as the sword” of transformation.

Our work is based from Lenape, Mohawk, + Susquehannock lands, though we aren’t limited to just one place. Our active mediums come to life through commissions, events, classes, + one-on-one client sessions. Meanwhile, our publishing house, online store, + remote services are international.

Sacred Canvas shares the work + play of LGBTI2S/BIPOC, creatives + practitioners. First and foremost, we are Artists. Providers of alternative medicine or healing arts are guides, certified consultants, health coaches + doulas trained in their respective fields; not therapists or medical doctors, unless stated.

leadership

Enx Eeden (he/they) is a passionate practitioner of interdisciplinary art, and medicine. Their work ranges as a ritual tattooist, painter, musician, herbalist and author. Together, sparking the flame that is now Sacred Canvas Collective. Of mixed heritage, they aim to address generational healing and disability justice with a holistic framework. Centering queer natives, he advocates within literature such as “Two Spirit Traditions,” 2023. He currently trains as a midwife, and prepares to become a teacher of the Lenape language.
