Eeden Theta Shale of Sacred Canvas is a passionate practitioner of Advocacy Arts, a campaign for creative catharsis. Their work adapts expressive activism as a tattoo ritualist, painter, punk musician, minister & teacher. Sacred Canvas is the cultivation of their lifelong study as a multidisciplinary artist, merging with multidimensional education.
Here we consider the abstraction of being a person, on this Earth & having an experience among the other life forms present as fuel for our evolution. This comes through in different ways for everyone: be it a poem, a piece, or an idea. Through visual or musical art Eeden brings this gnosis to life, all the while offering practical services & education for expansive efforts.
The interactive practice pertained revolves around centering as a creator, & in spiritual self discovery processes. While remaining trauma informed & background inclusive, we work to bridge the basis of human interconnectivity. In blending methodologies, we birth the values of Advocacy Arts to assist artists & survivors in embodied empowerment.

"I grew up in an abusive home, which resulted with mass confusion that only art could clear. Between defining myself apart from the destruction & openly adoring all things punk or queer at a ripe age, there was work cut out for me. Incessantly silenced or exploited, the true avenue for expression was always creative - my inner child knew doing so was an act of reclamation & rebellion."
"As the years went on, impressions left by East Bay Punx & early crossroads with the paranormal, primed me for the obscure. I set out to pursue tattooing at the same time as a double major in Studio Art & Psychology, getting my footing while rawly uncertain. To me these worlds were inseparable from those of energy, witchcraft & history - it was a shock to me that there were no readily accessible links between them in place."
"It took discipline, research & determination to piece together the fragments of what Spirit ran through each experience, what message was underneath. Throughout this time, the practice of Advocacy Arts developed in a symbiotic compliment: Prophecy Canvas for the crossover & Sacred Pokes to honor body art origins. Now merged, these projects sing to collective integration of culturally creative progress. My narrative has reframed into revitalizing our birthrights as Reality Participants, reconciling the wounds to generate pure & unapologetic magick."
